Friday the 16th of October Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette Marit participated the opening of Overture at Oslo Vandrerhjem
Haraldsheim. Overture is an informal network which helps to grow Scouting beyond its traditional boundaries through exploring
intercultural issues and dealing with questions that many associations in Europe are facing e.g. immigration, refugees and

a year for European scouting leaders where the Norwegian Guide and Scout Association was the host at Oslo Vandrerhjem Haraldsheim. The crown princess Mette-Marit, who is the high protector of the Norwegian Guide and Scout Association, is very pleased with
the work the scouting organisation includes minorities. She has herself been a scout as a child. At the arrival Mette Marit recived a welcoming scouting scarf from Maria Tanduru and Allaa Edin Maach. The Overture Network continued at the hostel throughout the weekend.
