Moss Airport Rygge (RYG): Norway’s newest hub

Since the initial plans for Moss Airport Rygge began in 1999 the airport has grown rapidly.

The airport has become a regional airport, as well as an international airport for low cost airlines and as a secondary airport for Oslo. Today, Moss Airport Rygge hosts 1 domestic and 13 international routes, in addition to 2 charter flights per week.

In cooperation with the airline, Norwegian, people in Moss, Sarpsborg and the surrounding cities may experience many exiting destinations in Europe. The airport is also a starting point for Europeans that wants to explore the south-eastern part of Norway. Hostelling International Norway offers accommodations various cities in the area.

How to get from Moss Airport Rygge:

The public transportation back and forth from the airport is very good.

By train: Rygge Station is four kilometres from the terminal. Special shuttle busses transport passangers between Rygge Station and Moss Airport Rygge free of charge.
By bus: The Rygge-ekspress is an express service that runs non-stop between Rygge and Oslo Central Station. The busses are easy to recognise due to the red colour. The departures of the busses are timed to connect with flights at Rygge. The Time-ekspress is an express service that connects the airport to the HI hostels in Halden, Sarpsborg and Moss.
