Hovden Vandrerhjem

Hovden is located in a mountain area (altitude 770 m.) and offers ideal conditions for outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, paddling and fishing. In ancient times (about 850 till 1350) Hovden was a centre for iron mining, a history which is illustrated in the local iron museum. Hovden is a famous winter sports centre with good slopes, lifts and a tropical bathing facility!
