Nesna is a part of the Arctic Circle area. The small town is located approximately 70 km southwest of Mo I Rana. Hurtigruta
has daily port of call to Nesna, and there are daily coaches back and forth to Mo I Rana. The marina has a guest port for private boats. Nesna is also known to be a hub for adventures in archipelago. Please check

Hurtigruta has port of call along the Norwegian coast, from Bergen in the south to Kirkenes in the north. The ferry trip between Nesna and Sandnessjøen takes about 30 minutes. There is also a schedule with Hurtigruten between Nesna and Bodø.
Travel by car on the state highway, Rv 17 is among the most beautiful roads in Norway. The Rv 17, from Steinkjær to Bodø,
runs through Nesna. Often, it can be timesaving to take the ferry between Nesna and Levang.
Nesna has 3 airports, Sandnessjøen Lufthavn, Stokka, Mosjøen Lufthavn, Kjærstad og Mo I Rana, Røssvoll, within a distance of 1.5 hour drive. Wideroe operates on all airports.
