
Å in Lofoten is one of the most preserved fishing villages in Norway. All the old wooden buildings are protected, and the
small fishing village is located at the end of E 10. Many people characterize Å as being the most beautiful place in Lofoten,
and when you visit you will see spectacular panoramic scenery of mountain, sea and small cottages.
Groups often want to visit Å because of the fishing opportunities. Å Hostel offers boat rentals and the hostel has 8 boats
of different sizes available. All boats, except the Pioner, offer eco sounder. Life jackets are obligated and free to borrow.
Other popular activities are; visiting the Stockfish Museum, bird watching and nature experiences as ex. hiking, skiing etc.
