Karasjok Hostel offers a total package of adventure trips for groups. The host Sven Engholm is 11 time winner of Europe's longest dog sled race - Finnmarksløpet. The hostel offers full pension in designed log cabins or stay in lawos at the Finnmark Plateau - depending on what kind of experience the group is looking for. Please, contact the hostel for the summer- or winter program.

The group is welcomed to take part in the daily life of the dog farm. There is always something exciting happening all year. The sled dogs are in training, the puppies are socializing and they need to get their daily run. Many interesting books can be read in "Dog library". The sauna or the outdoor hot tub is available for your group. Shorter dog sledding trips can be made if desired. Winter activities; Tour with our snowshoes or "Spark", cross country skiing, day trip by dogsled, snow scooter rides, visit the Laps and see the reindeers. Summer activity; go fishing - the fishing conditions are excellent for salmon and grayling in the Karasjok River (200 meters away) and trout in the water close by. Canoeing in the Karasjok River. Rent a canoe - We pick you up wherever you want. Rent a bike and go cycling. Hiking in the beautiful area just outside the hostel door.
