| Arriving by car: Leave the E6 at Grong, over the bridge and into the Grong village. Go past Vertshuset (on left hand side), then left by the
gas station (Hydro/Texaco), left again (behind Vertshuset), follow 180 degree turn, keep right (straight, in fact) and climb
the hill up to Namdals folkehogskole/Grong Vandrerhjem (hostel). Entering the campus area, turn left again and then right
- and now you should be in front of the reception (big green/gray concrete building). By train: From train station, take a taxi or the bus towards Mediå, get off at Vertshuset. Timetable Nordlandsbanen (train from Trondheim). There are also trains going from Trondheim to Steinkjer and busses from Steinkjer to Grong. Timetable. Flight: The closest airport is Namsos about 40 minutes from Grong. The airport in Trondheim is about 2,5 hours drive from Grong.
