As the largest city in Nordland county and just north of the Arctic Circle, groups visiting Bodo can enjoy a variety of museums and galleries, cycling (on one of the many scenic cycle routes), a range of outdoor activities and sports, or even watching the famous "Midnight Sun" at the beach in summer or see the "Nordic Light" on a hiking trip on a winter night. Bodo is also home to the largest colonies of Sea Eagles and these huge majestic birds can be seen daily flying over the city.
