The hostel is beautifully located with a view of the Geirangerfjord. There are good opportunities for fishing in rivers, lakes and in the fjord. The hostel can provide maps for walks in the area. Sights: The Hellesylt waterfall, small mountain farms clinging to the mountain sides at the Geirangerfjord and the Synnylven church (1859).
