Åndalsnes – the peak capital is located by the Romsdalsfjord, surrounded by wild and spectacular mountains. The HI group hostel is an excellent starting point for day trips by foot, bicycle or by car. Sports activities such as horse riding, mountain climbing and mountain hiking are very popular in the area, as well as fishing salmon in the famous River Rauma. One of the world's most beautiful railways - Rauma Railway are recommended.
