| The phone number to Åndalsnes taxi is +47 71 22 15 55. The hostel is located by road E-136, about 1,5 km from the centre of Åndalsnes in the direction towards Ålesund. If you are arriving from Trollstigen or Dombås: please take left at the Shell petrol station, cross the bridge and drive about 200 meters. Follow the signs and take the left to the hostel (Vandrerhjem). From Ålesund: the hostel is located 300 m after the church in Veblungnes. From Molde on the RV 64: Follow the signs to Ålesund from the roundabout in centre of Åndalsnes. Drive past the Shell petrol station and follow the description given above. There is free parking at the hostel. From the bus/ train station: It is about 15 - 20 minutes’ walk from the station to the hostel. The bus to Ålesund drives past the hostel and stops by the hostel on request. For local bus schedules and express coaches to Ålesund and Molde, please check out Veøy Buss or 177.no. NSB is the national carrier for train transport, which has daily departures to Åndalsnes from Trondheim. Norway Bussekspress had 2 daily departures from Oslo to Åndalsnes and Molde/ Ålesund (Route 142 - Dag og Nattekspressen). For information about ferries in the area, please check out Fjord 1. It is about 50 km to the closest airport to Åndalsnes. The airport is called Molde Airport Årø.
