Rjukan Vandrerhjem

Rjukan has been called the "cradle of tourism in Norway". Tourist came to the area to see the nature as early as the 18th century. Rjukan is also famous for the brave feats of the heavy water saboteurs, the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum at Vemork, The Krosso-cable car. Here you will also find marked walking trails to f.eks Mt Gausta with 1883 m.o.s. The hostel is situated at 940 meters with a grand view over lake Kvitåvatn and Mt Gausta. The hostel has 16 cosy 4-bedded rooms, some with en-suite facilities.
