Høvringen Hostel is located in beautiful surroundings in Rondane, close to the Rondane National Park. From the hostel you have a view to the famous Jotunheimen, a mountainous area of roughly 3,500 km. Just outside the door of the hostel there is a great toboggan ride for children and the cross country trails start, which are well prepared in the wintertime. The trails are suitable for beginners as well as more advanced cross country skiers and you find the trails inside and outside the Rondane National Park. The area is known for having lots of snow and great skiing conditions all winter. Formokampen is located at 1429 meters above sea level and there are trails to the very top. Høvringen Hostel offers reasonable accommodation with breakfast, lunch and 3-course dinner for the winter- and Easter season 2011/2012. Please contact the hostel for detail. Welcome |
