Come and visit Gjøvik and experience the charming contrast between urban and rural culture and settings - the exciting, dynamic buzz of the city and the quiet of harmonious country surroundings. Blessed with beautiful and virgin nature, the area offers a wide range of events and activities fro young and old, summer and winter.

The hostel is located near the city centre, only a 10 minutes walk from the railway station. The rooms are new and comfortable 4-bedded rooms, with TV and wireless Internet. The 2 and 3 bedded rooms also have private facilities. From the dining area there are beautiful views to the area Fastland and Gjøvik town. The common areas have a welcoming atmosphere, and the hostel also offers great meeting- and group rooms with modern equipment. Breakfast is included in the price. Lunch and dinner are offered to groups.

The area invites you to go swimming, play tennis, play sand volleyball, go on the skate ramp or to do a hiking trip. Close to the hostel you will also find the Olympic Mountain Hall where you can go skating both summer and winter. In the winter there are cross country trails and alpine slopes just outside the door. You can also take a boat trip with Skibladner - the world´s oldest paddle steamer or visit different art exhibitions.
