Mehamn is the gate to the northernmost mainland point in Europe; Nordkyn. It is a beautiful area, where you can experience the Midnight Sun in summer and the Northern Light in winter.

Mehamn Vandrerhjem offers guided trips, for instance to the lighthouse of Sletnes, the world's northernmost point for a lighthouse. Other activities are sea and river fishing. We recommend that you try our fish restaurant.
